I used to think things like lasers and ice were solely in the realm of superheroes, but Kurtis is a kind of superhero too! I started seeing Kurtis earlier this year for a stubborn skin issue on my cheek. He’s an attentive doctor and put my mind at ease that things will clear up, and thanks to his care, it has!

In addition to my initial skin issue, Kurtis has also helped me learn to care for and manage chronic seborrheic dermatitis, something I thought I just had to learn to live with. Having clear skin is a major confidence boost, and I can’t thank Kurtis enough for his patient care.

He’s moved locations since I first started seeing him, but his new spot at 595 Buckingham Way, Ste. 220, with Dr. Lawrence Cheung is easy for me to get to via Muni. The phone number on this page may not be current, but (415) 333-0348 is the number I use to get a hold of him.

I have been seeing Kurtis for over 10yrs now and he has been a great dermatologist for me and is very thorough in his spot check appts. I was sorry to her that he left his Castro Street location(to his & my dismay), given they recently went through some business changes to the practice, but he is now working with Dr. Cheng located at 595 Buckingham Way #220, San Francisco, CA 94132 Phone: (415) 333-0348. Kurtis has been my dermatologist for over 20 years. He is personable and professional. I feel very confident that I am getting the best information and up-to-date treatment when I see him. I’ve had Sculptra and Silicone treatments through him as well as my regular care, like regular skin checks and removal of keratoses and dealing with concerns I might have about particular skin manifestations. I’ve also had a couple of Skin Peel treatments by Kurtis. Everything that I’ve gone to his clinic for is addressed and treated in a very professional manner. He is good about allaying any fears or concerns of mine and has lots of great information about anything ‘skin’. I trust him because I have seen great results. Everyone in the Derm clinic, he and other dermatology specialists work from at 45 Castro, is helpful and very nice. Really fabulous dermatologist. I went to him for a little skin problem, and he was SO KNOWLEDGEABLE and listened to all my concerns and thoughts before prescribing me my medication…. Turns out , the meds he chose were absolutely perfect! I have never been so impressed with a derm before. His demeanor is a little dry, but I don’t go to doctor to become best friends… I go for RESULTS… And you WILL get them with him
